Red Or Green?

Soooo, I was planning on getting either a high-tech 90p or a 120p depending on the circumstances here. For the 120p I was thinking of having a only-green plants tank with caridina shrimp and a school of glass catfish. For the 90p I was thinking of getting only red/exotic plants like Rotala Ramosior Florida or Hygrophila SP Chai. However I haven't thought of the inhabitants yet. Which one first?
