Red Lipped/lipstick Goby

Hello all!

I was at my local fish store recently and I saw some of these guys and fell in love with them. They labeled them as red lipped gobies. Doing some quick research, I found they can be kept in a 10 gallon. I currently have a 15 gallon peaceful community tank. Do you think one would do well in my set up?

Stocking on my 15g:
-2 peacock gudgeons
-5 celestial pearl danios
-2 kuhlI loaches
-5 amano shrimp
-2 nerite snails

Any info on these guys would be greatly appreciated because I couldn’t find much on them.

Thanks!

I was looking at these little guys but found out they are not biofilm eaters they are carnivores and won't eat dry food

They’ll probably only eat live or frozen. Also I think they’re hillstream species, so they’ll need high o2 and fast water to fit in, which won’t go well with the other fish. I’m sorry. that’s a cool find however.

Awe man. That’s too bad. Thanks for the help everyone. I was just curious and it doesn’t hurt to ask! They are an interesting looking little fish.
