What is the water volume of the tank? 20
How long has the tank been running? 1 year
Does it have a filter? Yes
Does it have a heater? Yes
What is the water temperature? 84
What is the entire stocking of this tank? (Please list all fish and inverts.)
4 zebra danios, 1 Bristlenose pleco, 2 snails

Maintenance
How often do you change the water? Once a week
How much of the water do you change? 30%
What do you use to treat your water? Seachem prime
Do you vacuum the substrate or just the water? Substrate

*Parameters - Very Important
Did you cycle your tank before adding fish? No but it’s cycled and it was cycled before adding these fish
What do you use to test the water? Strips and master kit
What are your parameters? We need to know the exact numbers, not just “fine” or “safe”. Not sure but will test

Illness & Symptoms

How long ago did you first notice these symptoms? Tonight
In a few words, can you explain the symptoms? One red gill under a light
Have you started any treatment for the illness? No I’m at the end of treating for ich and no fish has had it for 5 days
Was your fish physically ill or injured upon purchase? It’s genetically weird bent spine constant sbd.
How has its behavior and appearance changed, if at all? Red gills

Explain your emergency situation in detail. (Please give a clear explanation of what is going on, include details from the beginning of the illness leading up to now) Just tonight I noticed my fishes gills are red from one side under light could this be lack of oxygen.

please get your tank water tested. we'll need to rule out ammonia poisoning, etc.

if that is the only fish affected, probably not a lack of O2.

any flashing or erratic behavior? maybe gill flukes?

or an infection of the gills?

It could be normal my danios have red on there gills this is undear their gills I could be seeing stuff also what exactly is flashing and I’ll test is it ok if I just do ammonia and strips

I have quite a few problems with my tank, but I’m adding more danios soon and I had all 3 of my black neons die of ich

Ok thanks should I continue treating with super ich and is it ok if my heater is blue
