Recently two of our green tiger barbs were killed by our rainbow shark. Once the shark had a new home, we were down to 8 tiger barbs and with a 75 gallon tank it looks a bit empty. So we got a trio of pictus catfish (adding more next cycle) 7 more tiger barbs, and a vanilla lobster adding to the 8 barbs and spotted pleco previously there. Just today I’ve noticed this weird red patch on either side of one of the new barbs. I’ve seen black spots on the sides but never red! Is this blood? Will it make my other fish sick? No other symptoms other than the red sides. Pic included
Update: I’ve noticed very small easy to miss red spots on the other new tiger barbs, but not my old ones. The spots on the others are so tiny you’d miss them unless you looked hard. Help!
