ok so I recently bought about 15 or so red cherry shrimp online. I took the risk and added them to one of my Betta’s tank. In the past I have done this and have had no problem. After the first day, they were all gone.....or so I thought. I was a bit bummed. I lost around $27. Hey but it figured it was risk anyways.

I thought they were all gone. However, I’ve been swapping the filters in my tank. I used to have internal filters, and I’m slowly switching to HOB. While I was working on one of the internal filter , I removed one of the inside media to place in the new filters, and I see a couple of shrimps in there. I decided to leave the filter how it was for now. I prefer hidden shrimps than no shrimps. Should I be concerned that they are living inside my filter?
