Red cherry shrimp and frogs?

So I've got a heavily planted 31 gallon fish tank that I bought with the intention of stocking it with red cherry shrimp and neon or cardinal tetras.
I'm not allowed to have any of my tanks or fish related things inside the house because my dad doesn't like the mess
Initially the only problem I had was the temperature fluctuations so I got a second heater.
Now, however I have a problem that I can't solve so easily. The frogs in my garden are attracted to the heat from the light I've got and now I've usually got 3-5 frogs in or around my tank. Though I've only seen one in the water once, I know they go in there more as they have actually laid eggs in the tank. Can the tadpoles and frogs possibly live alongside the shrimp? If not does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the frogs out?
I'll add photos of the back of the tank when I get home

I assume your tank is on the floor. I guess the obvious answer would be to get a stand for it. Is that a possibility?

It’s already about 2-3 feet off the floor

Looking at the flag (and I agree that no apologies are necessary), I'm going to assume you live in a part of the world where I'm not familiar with the wildlife. How big are the frogs?

Hahaha I think they're persons tree frogs (at least some of them) and maybe about 10cm (4 inches I think) or more

Also do I need to remove the tadpoles? Are they going to cause trouble for the shrimp?

If there are tadpoles in the tank already I'd probably get them out, and while I of course don't know anything about that particular frog, a 4" frog is certainly big enough to eat shrimp and tetras. I think you're going you need to find some way to keep them out.

Since your father won't let you keep the aquarium inside maybe he'd help figure out something, or build something, if you explain the problem and ask nicely?

When there was only one frog he suggested newspaper and after I did it two more came, they didn't seem to mind.
I was hoping someone on the forum might have an idea to help keep them out

I'm hoping to arrange a date to get the shrimp this afternoon. I need to know if the frogs or tadpoles will be a threat to the shrimp.

The tadpoles will definitely be a threat to the shrimp. Very easy snacks for them.

Thank you. I've been trying to fish them out all afternoon. Otherwise I would have ended up watching them tear each other apart!! Thank you for letting me know

Go to bunnings and get some mesh: where they sell the garden shading. Or even an old fly screen you have laying around or can pick up off gumtree - and place it over the tank.

I’m terrible at DIY installations so I like easy fixes. I back in the day bought a pack of clear small 3m hooks and put them around my tank upside down. Then I had mesh that I placed over the tank and ‘hooked’ over onto the hooks to keep it in place (this was for a HoudinI Fish). You can come up with something to keep the frogs out. The more frogs you have = more snakes, so I’d be keeping those buggers away!

I like the ideal just want to find a way to make it more appealing
