Red Albino Guppies (I need help)

HI all,
I'm new here. I recently just got back to owning fish and I have 4 male and 5 female red albino guppies. I asked the seller and he said they are around 12 weeks old. They still are a bit tiny and I was wondering when everyone thinks I should put 2 of the "more" red albino ones in a breeding box (one male one female). Here are some picture references for size and colour.
PS: It what also help if someone could help me choose a male and female fish.
Thanks!

It’s up to you on what fish you want to breed. If you like the coloration of one, go for it! If you want to sell the fry, I would use the most colored fish. Make sure to have lots of hiding spaces for the fry, because guppy’s are known for being cannibalistic. I’m sure that’s not a problem though. Remember to separate the fry once a few weeks old to prevent inbreeding. I trust that you know this already. Good luck!

do you think they are old enough to be separated into a breeding box? If yes, when should I saperate them? I just put them in that tank yesterday.
thanks

I’m not an expert, but I think 3 months are when guppy’s start breeding. Idk, I could be wrong. 12 weeks is around 3 months? Idk.

I think you should wait a week for them to adjust then separate to breeding box. They should be old enough then.

I never used a breeder box, but I thot they were used to isolate a female just before giving birth so that they fry aren't eaten. The female is removed once the fry are born.

I think a male with a female in a breeder box would probly be harassed to death by the male.

But as I say, I have no direct experience.

Enjoy yourself. Technically colony breeding isn't the best way to go. As you can see off colored males occur and will breed. But as long as your having fun who cares. I don't colony breed anymore but I've been into guppies 15 years. Relax have fun add some plants and deworm them once a month is my advice.
