Hello I just planted a 20 gallon tank a day ago with the dimensions of 24'' by 12 1/2'' by 16'' I would like to hear your feedback on the tank and if I should add other plants to make the tank look better. The plants in the tank are as follows:

    2 Java Fern
    2 Amazon swords
    1 Pack of Java Moss

Java fern shouldn’t have their rhizomes planted, they’ll rot. Tie or superglue them to the wood :)
Try some easy stem plants like bacopa or hygrophila in the back instead

Could I get some flat stones out of a creek and attach the plants to that?

It's possible but I would be a bit wary about doing that. A lot of creeks have tons of parasites, worms, and bugs that you don't want in your tank.
