Hey everyone - I don't have a sump, so a protein skimmer i'm assuming has a narrower choice when i'm buying one. At first I was thinking just a hang on the back, because this is the one I knew definitely I didn't need a sump for.
Then I went into the LFS - and the lady suggested that another cheaper type was actually better (I cna't remebre the name sorry) And then she suggested a protein skimmer/external filter in one by AquaOne (Something like Marissa or masina - I kept hearing mixed reveiws about it). I have an AquaOne tank - but because I got it off ebay - its really old one they don't make anymore, and the cupboards are roughly 40cm along each (there are four) And I didn't think an external filtre or protein skimmer would fit under here.. I'm really lost.... Any help?
Has anyone had this protein/ex.filter from aqua one?
Anyone had a good hang on back one?
Anyone want to suggest another method I could attach a protein skimmer?
Can you get 'in the hood' protein skimmers (I do have a filter in the hood but it doesn't seem to do anything much)
