"Re-doing" my 29gal - Let the creative juices flow, people!!

Hey! I'm back! I haven't said anything on this site since at least before Christmas 2013!! Well anyways, As the title states, I am "re-doing" my 29gal. The tank was an Amazon Biotope, (https://www.fishlore.com/fishforum/aquarium-aquascaping/157570-amazon-biotope.html <- Discussion) and it looked pretty good for a while. However, I kind of got a little bored of it, and now I want to do a complete "makeover." Any suggestions as to what fish i should get, what type of community the tank should be, etc. I am completely open to all suggestions!!

    Thanks

Love Threadfin Rainbows, they are small but lovely.

Black neons look great with the Harlequins, I have both in my 30g tank.

Glass bloodfins are really awesome and like to school.
