RBelchaks 55gal freshwater community tank

So I am finally getting settled with my tank, I have found a stock and look I like very much with the exception I would like more plants. So here are some pictures of what I got, I will work on some better pictures soon.

-Stock- 2 clown loaches, 1 hillstream loach(more to come), 2 flower shrimp, 1 frog, bunch of guppies,
4-5 cory cats (possibly more as you will see in one of the pics, 1 Elephant nose.

Was so excited when I got home today and it appears I have finally had a sucessful batch of cory eggs hatch and survive, I have tried collecting the eggs and it never worked out. The little guy is only about 1/4" long at the moment, There may be more but I figure its best to let the little guys do their thing and not bother them.

Middle of the tank, I decided to tie up the drift wood to keep something at the top of the tank rather than just open space and the fish seem to love it.

my little girl wants a frog but my tank is not solid.

 

Nice! I couldn't see the cory though, lol

 

Lol Shanna here is a picture to help see him, he is just down and left of the red piece of flake food maybe a centimeter, his base color matches the drift wood and hes speckled, he blends in perfectly probably how he has survived.

 

hmm expected more responses lol! Side note I like the particular piece of drift wood I have in the tank, it's a tad over 3 ft long, my girlfriend found it at the LFS for 6$ I was dumb founded when she showed me the price. Waiting on the LFS to order me in some Freshwater clams, should be next week I'm told.

 

It's pretty cool the way you left the wood float.

I'd be concerned about the frog with the tank being so large for him.
He really needs a clear path to the top for air.
They dart up pretty quickly and he could bonk his little head.
Be sure he gets to eat food that is good for frogs.
Many times the fish get to the food faster.

He's got a sweet little face.
