Raphael Catfish shaking and restless

Hi, my raphael catfish has not been himself lately for the past few days. He has been swimming up to the edge of the aquarium. We also have an angelfish with red spots on its gills. We tested the water and didn't see anything weird or out of whack with the ammonia or nitrates. The levels looked good. The heater is working.

Yesterday morning we gave Microbe Lift Artemiss bacteria/fungal treatment. Didn't seem to help so we are currently trying coppersafe to provide relief from parasites. Someone at our local petsmart suggested to try that, but we are not sure if it's a parasite or something else.
Today we noticed the raphael catfish is not moving up to the edge of the aquarium but shaking in his normal resting area under his log house decor and trying to float.
Should we continue giving coppersafe or is there something else we should try?

Coppersafe should eliminate all external parasites if dosed correctly. Follow the directions carefully. Copper Sulfate can be very damaging to fish & invertebrates.
Microbe Lift Artemiss is primarily for Bacteral infections. Microbe Lift Herbtana is an anti parasitic.

Thank you for the quick help. Does it seem like these symptoms are the result of parasites or maybe something else like fungal or lack of oxygen?

Was thinking to do a new treatment combining the following: maracyn to treat fungal/bacterial infections, ich-x, and paracleanse for fast relief from parasitic diseases. However, the combination of these would mean we probably have to do a full water change I would imagine.

Alternatively, it seems more likely to be a parasitic infection, if so perhaps I should use paracleanse with the coppersafe to give our catfish some relief. Do you see using paracleanse with coppersafe as a bad combination?

Also here is a small video of our catfish shaking in his log house. He is in the back behind the angelfish. I uploaded the video so you see:
Here is a picture of our angelfish with the red spots as well

Copper Sulfate is probably the most potent anti parasitic med
available for aquarium use. Formalin is a close second.
No need to combine other anti parasitic meds.
Not seeing any indication of a bacteral infection, Judging from the pics.

Ok thanks again. The ingredients for coppersafe say its Active Chelated Copper Sulfate 2.2%, so I assume we are using the most effective treatment assuming it is parasitic.

IMO, Copper Sulfate is the strongest med available for treating parasites.

Hi, as an update we have been running coppersafe for about a week now (since 2/25) and the Raphael catfish seemed to have calmed down but occasionally shakes in his log house. We checked the copper level and see it is at 1.5 ppm.

Our angel fish continues to have some red spots. Here is an updated picture of the angel fish.

Do you think we should increase the coppersafe dosage to get us to 2.5 ppm or maybe switch to more bacterial treatment (can they run at the same time)? We have been speaking with pet store associates and they are leaning towards it being more bacterial. We were thinking "fin and body cure" from API. Any thoughts on adding this to our coppersafe treatment?

If the problem was bacterial the fish would likely be dead by now.
Adhere to the Coppersafe directions. Too much Copper Sulfate exposure will either damage or kill your fish.
