RAOK: Malaysian Trumpet Snails!

It's been a while since a RAOK was offered, so here goes!

If you haven't already seen the first Random Act Of Kindness Contest, or RAOK for short, this is the premise: This is a contest where the person running it offers up something for free if the winner is willing to pay shipping costs. If the one running it wants to cover shipping costs as well, that's up to them. It's up to the one running it what kind of contest it should be, it can be anything from a 250 word short story to a themed photography contest to beginners showing their need with trying to set up a tank or the first four to respond or anything they can think of, as long as it's appropriate for a family-type forum like this. A deadline will be posted then the winner chosen by the one running the contest.

Shipping is free. Will be shipped in envelopes.

How to enter: Post a funny photo you've taken and a story behind it.

Deadline: Sunday, May 13th at MIDNIGHT Eastern Standard Time.

My poor puppy, Shadow, was being 'prettified' by the little girl that was at my house. He had ribbons tied to his feet and tail along with lots of bows and hairties in his hair by the time she was done.

The worlds most determined kitten ever. We had him in a separate area from the dogs so he could settle in like your supposed to do. Well, let me tell you this, he had some very different plans. Went from there, onto the Pugs back and up onto the bed where he promptly fell asleep. Tired himself out during the great escape. Till this day, no wall, door or fence will contain him.

 

I'd like to respectfully ask that people stop posting pictures so that I can win Kitten pictures... that's just not fair.

 

Have you ever seen an ADF? This picutre is not for the contest, just to unleash the cuteness known as the African Dwarf Frog.

 

So we've covered frogs, kittens, dogs, babies... how do you guys feel about horses?

I was at a state wide horse show with a horse that my friend had leased to me a couple years ago. Sweetest horse I've ever met, very good hearted. Well, I was going to snap a picture of her just standing in her stall, but I guess she was tired- she yawned right as I took the photo:

I'm sorry Cichlidnut but I'm afraid your on the very bottom of the list. I mean if I had to choose from first to last it would go like this:

Kitten, Baby, Dog, then Frog. I mean sure you have a cute picture but a frog doesn't stand a chance against a baby or kitten in a cuteness contest ;D!!

I'm actually less affected by pictures of kittens than you'd think. Perhaps it's because there are millions of photos of kittens so I've kind of become desensitized to them. But give me a real, live kitten, and you can bet I'll be playing with it!

I'm not entering the contest since I have a ton of MTS, but I thought I'd share.

My manager went on a week long trip, so I figured I would upgrade his desk. Specifically, turning it into a fort complete with cannons and a flag.
Edit: I sure hope those big photos shrink down into a clickable box like everyone ese's did...

That is awesome! I bet that workplace must be a great place.
