You can absolutely keep regular Blue Rams with Electric Blue, and even breed them. It’s the same fish, Mikrogeophagus Ramirezi, just different colors. One male and three females should be good. I dont recommend balloon versions at all, the regular ones live short lives already, the balloons are even shorter.
