Nice Rams! Are you feeding the fry? Other fish in the tank?

Thanks. This is their first spawn. Totally unprepared. Ill probably lose this batch but I might be making arrangements to put them in another tank for future spawns. They are in a 20 gallon long with cherry barbs and otos.

Pulling them gently with a turkey baster and putting them in a breeder box in your existing tank is another option.

You’ll need food. Hikari FirstBites will work in a pinch, but I’d recommend a mixture of Golden Pearls and freshly hatched baby brine shrimp.

As I’m guessing you don’t have any of those things now, maybe you have some eggs? If so, you can bake the egg yolks and mix with tank water for them. Google it if this is an option for you.

And be prepared for a fair amount of work! :)
