First off, I’m looking for an albino red millennium rainbowfish female in Ontario, Canada. The place I once got a pair can no longer get them. Does anyone know of any stockists that could help? I’ve called around to no avail.

Secondly, a lot of places only have small rainbows because they’re easier to sell. Can I mix juveniles and adults or will that create a negative dynamic? And out of curiosity what’s the best male:female ratio. I had a male and a female in my 26 gallon. They got along well and looked very happy but she was killed by a krib (got rid of it) and now he’s lonely.

Can’t help you with the place to get them unfortunately, but have you looked online at all? Aqaubid might have some and I believe they typically ship to Canada.

A 2f to 1m is the best ratio, but a little more or less of either is alright as well. You can mix juvies and adults, there shouldn’t be any problem with that. You might just have them re-ordering the pecking order for a bit.
