Rainbowfish behaviour

I suspect they could be spawning, but I'd be veeery cautious whether that's really the case.

Boesemani are blue on the front half and yellow on the back half (you should google them). They look like Millennium Rainbows to me. I'm unclear on what you think the issue with them is. Is it coloration or behavior?

Well,I wonder why they pair up almost everyday of a week and get more colorful during that. After that they chase each other.

From what I can see in the photo, they both look like they are male to me. Rainbow fish are schooling fish and if you only have two, that could explain their behavior. As mentioned above, they may be sparring. Adding more (if you have the room) may lessen that behavior, since Rainbows are generally pretty peaceful.
