HI all. I want to get a rainbow shark amd get other tank mates that are semI aggressive. I really love bichirs and I wanted to possibly get one but don't know if they are going to eat a rainbow shark . I wanted to get african cichlids or jack Dempsey and green terror but those fish are too aggressive and ive seen vids of blood parots eating rainbow sharks and don't want anything to eat my rainbow shark since I am so adiment about having one shark in my community . so I will stear away from too agressive. If the bichir doesn't work, what exotic fish do you recommend? Black ghost knife? Other cool fish .Thanks

Okay, well it's still hard to suggest tank mates without knowing what size tank you are using.

In a 10 gallon no. In a 150 gallon yes.

What is the actual size?!? It's important!

Seriously, I am just trying to help. I might come off as a tad bit aggressive, but I am just trying to help. The actual tank size does matter.

DEPENDS ON TANK SIZE!!! In a 10 gallon, it would destroy the shark or the other way. In a 250 it would work. If it is less than one hundred gallons, it will not work. I know you might not like it, but you can't ask about stocking and hide the tank size. No need to get angry and cuss at me.

It depends, every fish is different. It also depends on space, hiding places, type of bichir. There's not really a yes or no answer.

I'm only housing two fish together a rainbow and one other. so with a tank of 55+ it doesn't matter the size.

In a 60 gallon, no. In a 150 yes. Ok, what are the dimennsions? If it is 18 wide, possibly.

If you can give specifics on one of the highlighted red texts, we can give a better answer

Libs? We are trying to help. If you don't want to give us info on your tank, we can't do much. I'm sorry but I cannot suggest anything not knowing anything about your tank. Have a good day.

I am just doing research on my fish . people house these two fsh in a 75 gal and I am tired of people being this ridiuclous. My tank is bigger than that as I invested in something bigger than that, that is more spacious. So like I said it doesn't matter. Its big. K .So either answer my post and flag it or move on.

I answered your post. IT DEPENDS!!! You can't always have a definite answer without all the statistics

I didn't even cus at you. Technically fish belong in the wild not in aquariums. I'm not "hiding" my tank size as I am not doing anything wrong .have a nice day y'all.
