rainbow shark?

    hi guys ,im new to this and recently bought a rainbow shark, i have read the information on this site, does anyone know what the ideal diet is. Thanks for the help

    If I'm not mistaken, they are herbivores, so a varied diet of mostly plant matter would be good. Just google your fish and you will probably get a lot of profiles to read. Here's one right here on FishLore!

    From what I've read, Rainbow Sharks are not particularly finicky eaters. Give them flake food, freeze-dried bloodworms and/or tubifex, as well as vegetable-based foods and you should be fine.

    they eat algea wafers and sinking pelets and i think anything you give them but they need greens.
