Rainbow shark fin missing!!

So I have a rainbow shark in my 60g tank, along with a Jack Dempsey and Red Texas. As of now they are all still pretty small and around the same size and there’s not very much aggression in the tank. My concern is that a few weeks ago I notice a slice in my rainbows sharks bottom fin and I was thinking it’s either he ripped it or another fish cut it. But after a week or so it just grew back in. Now today I notice the same thing on his top fin and I’m wondering if it’s maybe a part of the way this fish grows. I’m not sure what to think or do about it but let me know what you guys think, thanks!

No, none of my rainbow sharks have shed fins and then had them grow back.
You have a bully in the tank

Okay that’s what I was expecting, I know the red Texas gets a little aggressive towards the others at feeding time, I’m going to keep an eye on the fins and I have a divider and a extra tank ready to go if it gets to that! For now tho I’m going to let it play out and see if it will work out but if it gets anyworse they will get separated

My friend had a jack Dempsey that would attack everyone...he was king of the tank...how big is the rainbow shark? Does he have good hiding places?

Yup the tank has many caves, the jack and the shark are about the same size at around 4 inches, but the red Texas seems to be the boss
