Gorgeous fish! Excellent pictures! It's hard to get them to hold still to get a decent shot!

I got them from local (Tucson, AZ) African cichlid breeder. His website:
cichlid lovers
He ships Cichlids all over N. America.

I was thinking about gettng a new dslr (had a D5100) and while it was great for outdoors, it wasn't very good for indoor or for fish. I upgraded to a D7500 and a new 16-80mm lens but the 35mm lens works better for fish.

Not exactly an amazing photo but many of my boesemanI are still juveniles and not much colour. The faintest bit of orange and palest blue. I’ve been saying lately they seem to be starting to colour nicely - even though they’re still small.
Before I head to work this morning I grabbed a quick snap of one little fella who I thought is looking great!

Nice pink fins. Are they a trifasciata?

I do not think they are. M. sp. 'Morehead River' is their official name. If they were tri's their name would reflect it.

I think they are yet to be described.
