55 Gallon Tank Rainbow fish eggs. What do they look like?

I have 5 Rainbow fish in my 55 gallon: 3 BoesmanI Rainbow fish and 2 Praecox Rainbow fish. In the last week or so I have found two 'clusters' of eggs. They look like a tiny honey-comb of eggs. I am not sure if they have been laid by my apple snail that lives with my Rainbow fish or the Tiger Barbs???? They are tightly stuck together in a cone shape of yellowish eggs and are stuck to the side of the tank. I am sorry I never took a photograph of them. In the 55 gallon I have :
3 BoesmanI Rainbow fish
2 Praecox Rainbow Fish
1 Opaline Gourami
7 Tiger Barbs
2 Male Sword-tails.
1 Apple Snail
I have a suspicion it is the Apple Snail.... only because he/she was added in the last month or so and prior to that I never had any eggs. I hope it isn't the snail......... there were dozens of eggs in the cluster!!

They are snail eggs.
Rainbows are egg scatterers.

Snail eggs can be removed, then frozen, then tossed in the trash. They may survive if you don't freeze them. And it had to have been your snail. They can store sperm for months. So keep your eyes out for more egg clusters.

Oh Wow!! I had a suspicion.... thank Winnie and Dino. I didn't know that snails are hermaphrodites. I love my single apple snail, but don't want an infestation! LOL

I agree, it sounds like the snail. There are several threads on raising apple snails that you could look at for picture comparison.

If I'm near my tank, I always know when one of my rainbows has laid eggs, because there is a frenzy around a random spot of my plants as all the other rainbows try to eat them. I don't think rainbow eggs would stay around long in a community tank.
