I've been wanting to set up a tank with some rabbit snails for a while now, and I've got one cycled and I'm curious - has anyone ever had any success keeping rabbit snails in a brackish water aquarium? I've been finding conflicting reports online; some vendors list the Poso Orange Rabbits as brackish or fresh, and others as strictly fresh - Lake Poso has fresh and brackish environments but I can't seem to dig up any reports as to which parts of the lake these snails are living in.

Sulawesi King Snails do seem to prefer brackish, but they also seem to be next to impossible to find.

    ...any experience?

Personally I would say no, but I'm no expert. I keep my rabbit snails in freshwater and they breed like mad and seem really happy, but I only have common types.

this guy on facebook is an expert, writes a lot about them online. I think he could help you out.
