I have three rabbit snails. I originally started off with one, Turbo. I loved my rabbit snail so much that I bought a second one. About two months later, I spotted a tiny baby rabbit snail. Therefore, I now have three. The baby only has maybe 5 spirals, and is maybe an inch now. Turbo is definitely 3 inches, and Samuel L Jackson is about 2. Today I was looking at Turbo and noticed a tiny pearl looking rock right beneath her. I am not 100% sure if it is an egg. I have attached photos of all three snails, and the lil pearl. I have never seen a snail egg (except for the small clutches left by pest snails). I did research and I do know that rabbit snails give what is considered a live birth as far as snails are concerned. I also know they are one of the few snail species that require a mommy and daddy to make babies. I know they lay a pearl looking egg that hatches in a few hours (i guess that’s why its considered a live birthing snail). Does anyone know if this is an egg? I’ll keep watching for a few hours to see if it hatches….but I figure someone on here would know better than me if it is a snail egg.
