Questions about my pregnant Balloon Molly?

Well today I bought a Neon Butterfly Balloon Molly and well she's pregnant. I've never owned a live bearer before nor had a pregnant fish so give me some info about them please. Now some of my questions:

1. How long till you think she lays them
2. About how many do you think she will have
3. What do I feed them(the fry)
4. Is it true she'll die after she gives birth

Info about her:

She's about 1.5'' long and probably 1.2'' downward. I read online about the spot where you can tell if she's pregnant or not(forget what is called) its there. And that's all I can think to put just ask me to add more info.

Hi,

Well time of birth depends on when she got pregnant ect. So I can't really say on that. Also a molly is a livebearer so she will give birth to live babies instead of laying eggs.

Mollies can have anywhere from 5 babies to 50 babies per drop. The size and age of the female affects the number of fry per drop.

You can crush up flakes or pellets and feed them to the fry.

Usually the mother shouldn't die after she drops her fry unless she has difficulty during birth or there are other complications sch as health issues.

Also the spot that tells you that she's pregnant is called the gravid spot. it is the dark spot near the anal area. She'll begin to look boxy when she is about to give birth.

Doesnt the mutation of ballonmolley make them more prone to birthing issues though?

Not usually. At least not in my experience. My balloon mollies had babies without any issues. Although I do suppose it is possible since the balloon trait is a deformity.

I had read it a few times, but not from any truly reliable source to draw an actual conclusion so I thought id ask first.
