question on cories

i have regular gravel fromt he pet store in my tank? i've heard this hurts cories is this true?

They say it's not preferable. But they'll be fine. All the pet stores have it and so do I. Perhaps others will disagree.

Big gravel tends to wear their barbels down. they prefer sand.
I do have some in fine gravel

Mine are in a mix of fine and round pea gravel.

I have 5 cory cats in a 20 gal. long with regular gravel and they are doing great. I think they have a better chance of damaging their barbels in a gravel tank, but they will be fine!
