I just realized almost all of the pics I have of him are when he's sleeping. When he's awake he's go go go and almost impossible to take a pic of. People say they sleep a lot, but when they are awake they do not waste that time. lol

Ok, so he just broke my heart. I had the play pen put away for awhile and my puppy and other dog who kinda wants to eat him were right by the cage. Well my puppy is ok with him so I was letting her smell him and he was trying so hard to play with her. He was sniffing her and then rolling over onto his back and pawing at her like he wanted her to "wrestle" with him like we do.
It made me so sad cause I can't let him play with them because I don't fully trust my puppy with him yet and my other dog is doing better, but not anywhere near where I would trust him yet.

I think I need to get another Ferret for him to have a buddy to play with....

I know. It really did break my heart seeing that. We play with him a lot and he has lots of toys and even has a wheel to run on that he doesn't use, but seeing that made me realize that he needs a buddy. I'm going to the store today and hopefully his brother is still there. I think he would be the best bet for a another "good" Ferret and one who would get along well with Koda.

So it must have been meant to be as Koda's "twin" was still at the store so I brought him home yesterday. Koda is super happy to have another Ferret to play with and KenaI is fitting right in. They get along like they've been together this whole time.

Sorry! I can't get rats, my mom is absolutely scared of them.
Bulldogs are our love! SO ADORABLE.

I agree they are great animals, but I am looking for something to hug.
(i'm a hugger) I think I'll squeeze the life out of a rat!
Have you ever thought about a Prairie Dog, I have a customer that has one and they are the sweetest things.

Just a quick fyi. ferrets are not rodents. In fact, they're more closely related to cats, being that they are both obligate carnivores.

Even closer related to skunks, mink, wolverines, weasels etc, all part of the mustelid family

I know. I was just giving perspective. People would still look at a skunk and mink and see a rodent. Besides that, most commercial ferret foods are garbage and being that a ferrets' dietary needs are not much different then cats, I fed mine high quality, grain free catfood instead.

Thank you! I'm super happy and so is Koda.
It just seemed fitting. KenaI is bigger than Koda and they are brothers so there ya go. lol plus I really like both names.
Here's some pics. Koda is first and then Kenai.

I have them on Marshalls food right now, but I already ordered a bag of Wysong Digestive Health cause I've read it's much better food. Unfortunately it's hard to get cause they always run out of stock so I'm going to have to make sure I always have extra.

Love it! Really miss having ferrets around now but I have a pig that I'm not sure will be so nice. Ha!

Lol
I know what you mean. For some reason my pets that are little stinkers end up bring my favorites.
