Question: Cleaning glass with plants

What is the best method to clean glass that have plants right next to them. I got stem plants and Swords on the sides and back of the tank, and wondering what is best way to clean them? Thinking this weekend I'll probably need to do a wipe down and probably but hand, I think using the tool would damage the plants.

Maybe one of those magnetic algae scrapers. Otherwise i wouldn't worry about it. Assuming you are talking about inside glass.

Algae scraper or use a soft sponge with a handle to wipe it down

Plants are pretty forgiving. The leaves should bend and move out of the way.
You might not be able to get right down to the bottom, but chances are that is pretty much out of view anyway.

I usually use a single edge razor blade on the inside

Back before my mystery snails were cleaning the inside of my glass I would use an expired credit card or gift card. It is stiff enough to do a good job and no chance of scratching the glass while using it.

BTW: I never cleaned the inside of the back glass. If there isn't a background on the back glass it may need to be cleaned but since I can't see through mine I don't clean it. Mystery snails do but I didn't.
