    Dear Fish lovers,

I have a 54l (14G tank), in which i have a pickup filter which is 2008 model. I bought the tank as a package which cae with the thernoneter, heater , filter etc. My question is, there is an attachment which if used creates some bubbles, and if not used there are no bubbles. Is it good or useful to use it or no?

    Thanks in advance .

    Welcome to fishlore!
is it a sponge filter, your talking about? the more filters the better... and I'd rehome that CAE, 14g is too small for it's eventual size, and it will start showing aggression as it ages.

    Yes it's a sponge filter I'm talking about. I'm sorry but what's a CAE? 14g? I didn't understand. I'm sorry I'm a bit naive in this.

Actually, I'm sorry, I thought you meant you got a CAE (chinese algae eater) with the tank, apparently that wasn't it? :)

It's my mistake as I committed some terrible typing mistakes. My question was on using the air valve for the filter.
