Question About The Water Level In My Tank..

Should I increase the water level?? There is around 2 inches of space available.. and bubbles from my internal filter splashes water on my tank cover which drips down the outside of the tank.. how can I reduce the splash..

Increasing the water level will decrease the amount of splashing. I, personally, keep my water level at the height of the output of my HOBs, and slightly higher than the output for my internal filter (note: this is the TopFin Internal Filter that has a spreader bar), this keeps the surface of the water moving, and there is 0 splash. As long as there's a way for fresh air to get into the tank and interact with the water, the water level should be fine that high.

My filters output is below the water line bit my filter has aeration as well and bubbles come out of the output which splashes water out from the bubbles..
