20 Gallon Tank Question About Seachem Ammonia Alert Reader?

I have one of those seachem ammonia alert cards hanging in my tank and in an attempt to reposition it I accidentally touched the back of the card where the middle circle is. I read that your never supposed to touch the center because that can ruin the card, but do you think it will affect it much if I only touched the back?

Sorry I’m going to be paranoid about this now :/

I believe the sensor is on the front of the card not the back.

Not to be funny, or stir up anything, but, if you are doing regular maintenance, why do you need that? Your ammonia should never get to the level of being dangerous if regular maintenance is done.

Generally in case of an ammonia spike like trapped rotting food, plant or dead fish, etc.

I hope not- if that’s true then I broke the sensor the first day I got it. It still seemed to be working fine so maybe it depends how lightly you touch it?
