Question about live plants

HI all,

I just cycled my 100% live 29 gallon tank. I have several anacharins, java moss, two crypts, and two moss balls. I love the natural setting that live plants give the aquarium and I know that makes my fish happier. And the natural setting allows for my colorful fish (right now 8 cherry barbs) to really stand out.

Here's my issue. My fiance asked me to find a live plant that adds some more color to the tank, as all I have now are greens and bronze/reds (crypts). Are there any hardy, undemanding, yet colorful live plants to consider?

Dwarf lily bulbs are colorful, I have on with pinkish orange leaves and one with pink leaves. A lot will depend on your lighting the stronger your light source, the more options you have for non green plants.

Are the dwarf lily bulbs hardy and undemanding. I mean, I do fertilize my plants, just don't go overboard. And where can I buy them?

Dwarf lilies are a great plant. The could appreciate root ferts periodically.

If you would complete your profile to add your tank specifics we could provide more specific help. Most deep red, pink or purple leafed plants require higher lighting.

Also, you can get the lily bulbs at Petsmart or Petco.
