I have read and researched all I can about natural light and fish tanks. I want to know if my placement of the tank will have issues?
The tank is not directly in front of a window. There is however a large sliding glass door in the livingroom where the tank sits. The sun rays rarely come directly in through the window. This is because it is a south facing window, so only in the mornings does light come through. Even with the morning sunlight it never directly reaches the tank. It shine is and hits the wall and never reaches the tank. I added live plants and only have a small led light that came attached to the fish tank lid. I want to make sure the plants receive some light to grow, and i am not sure if the led light will provide what the plant needs. I’ve read so much about sunlight or natural light causing algae. I know temperature isn’t an issue because the sunlight never touches the tank. I have provided pictures of where the tank is in relation to the sliding door.
