I have 50 gallons tank and 4 gold fish in, I added 5 cap full of flourish excel as direction for initial, I don't use co2 in tank. So is it fine with my fish cuz I see their move slowly and stand than swim around Like normal, maybe something wrong?

You can always increase aeration, that large of a dose (according to the web) can affect co2 levels negatively. The dose you gave is what the instructions say, but the gas exchange may not be able to handle the load if you're not heavily planted and aerated.

And how can I fix it because My fishes are getting weak right now, stand at a corner and not swim around.

I think you shocked them when you added that much in that quick of time. Plus the goldfish will just dig up the plant, so there is really no reason for fertilizer.

I'd do a large water change. You don't need to follow the initial dose instructions and you definitely don't need to add the extra during water changes. Just add for the normal dose recommended for your tank size daily or every other day.

What are you other water parameters? PH, nitrites, nitrates, ammonia??? How long has your tank been running for?
What type of goldfish?

Do you have algae problems in the tank? That's the only reason you should be using flourish excel. Now flourish comprehensive is used for actually adding fertilizer to your tank for your plants. Depending on how heavily stocked with plants your tank is how much fertilizer you should use. You can also split the fertilizer between every two to three days. If you are adding fertilizer to your tank you don't want activated carbon as it will filter out the fertilizer so it won't be doing any good for the plants. At night the plants will suck up the oxygen in the tank so if you wake up and see that your fish are at the top gasping for air this is the reason why and you should add an airstone so that it adds more oxygen for your fish.

Hi,
What sort of plants do you have? What sort of lighting?

Not all plants require CO2 dosing, especially slow growing in low light setups. I use 3mL of Excel once a week in a 70L (20G) tank. I have high lighting, and plants that take up the CO2.

As suggested above, a large water change will help reduce the concentration, but I would suggest two smaller changes.

Adding an airstone might help, but being liquid CO2 (well, carbon replacement), gas exchange probably wouldn't occur.
