Question about cleaning and water changes with plants

I have been making my tanks water change every week more or less two are planted a 3 gallon and a 3.5 gallon, my other 3.5 is starting to get plants.
Now should i keep up this schedule? And i have some plant roots on the gravel that has fallen or when my fish pass through it falls should i vacuum or let it provide nutrients my plants are anubias on wood and rock, kava fern root trees.

This is not a good answer but. . . either

I occasionally vac my planted tanks, some do it on a schedule, and others not at all.

Java fern and anubias take their nutrients from the water column rather than substrate, so vacuuming won’t hurt. Personally I’d keep up with your water change schedule - water changes do more than just removing nitrates. They also add in minerals that your plants will use.
