question about behavior

    Hello-- This is my first time having angelfish. I have a 55 gallon community tank with 2 angels. They are the largest fish in the tank, but they stick to each other like glue.... never more than 4 inches apart. Is that normal or do you think they might be a pair?

    its normal for a bonding pair no matter what the sex is :)

    Many times 2 females will "pair" up also.

    I can't tell what the sex is.... I have read the thread about it, but I can't figure it out.

    It is either a pair, or 2 females, as I highly doubt that 2 males will stay together with fighting over territories.

    I think.... its a male and female. The one I think is female is larger than the one that I think is male. But from the heads and the papillia, I think I have a boy and girl. But I understand that it doesn't mean a pair.
