Question about acrylic tank…

I found a used (less than a year) acrylic tank locally seems like a really good deal. My only concern is that I have heard the base of the tank needs to be 100% supported and the stand this one is on has just the four edges and a few cross bars. Is this ok? This is the stand it appears to be on.

It may work. But your best bet would be to put a piece of plywood under the tank. 1/2” will do.

Thanks. I was going to do that. I just didn’t know if it being on that stand for a year ish would effect the integrity of the tank?

The stand does have the bars going across so that’s a plus. Next it’s only 30g. Acrylic is 3x stronger than glass. I’ve got a 125 that the previous owner had on an open center wood stand for years. He stopped using it when it crazed. I bought it cheap and now have it on a wood base for the last 2 years.
