I just got 2 new nerite snails, and I know I should quarantine them before adding them to my tank. However, from what I've researched they can carry diseases but don't exhibit symptoms. So how do I know when they're safe to add to my tank? Thanks for any help!

After 2 weeks they should be fine as most parasites can not survive longer then that without a host.

Well they're from petsmart so I'd rather be on the safe side. I don't mind giving them a 2 week vacation in their own tank rather than risk my betta's health!
