Hi.Lately i've been watching saltwater quarantine tank videos on you tube and I was just wondering because i've seen some quarantine tanks that have a few fish all together.what's gonna happen when lets say 1 fish gets a disease?Your gonna have to medicate the sick fish with all the other healthy fish in the tank and its not a good idea to medicate healthy fish. What happens in this situation and what do people do?Right now I'm still planning my quarantine tank because I want to setup a saltwater aquarium and this kinda confused me.THX

I cannot speak for all of them, but it is possible that they purchased all the fish at the same store, and since many stores use a common filter system for all their tanks, it doesn't really matter if they are in the same Q tank or not since they have been sharing a water supply with each other while at the pet shop.

Don't buy a new fish until the QT is empty-if you buy more then one they all go in QT-never buy more then the QT can handle
