Hey everyone,
So I decided to stop doing the "bucket method" and save my back a few trips a week. I bought a 50-foot python no spill and I am having some problems.
So yesterday I started using the python and all is going well. Takes much longer than my regular siphon, but it gives me the time to really get in the sand. Now. I go back to my sink and the water has overflowed onto the floor!! I don't think my sink drain is strong enough to handle the 50 feet of tubing. If I turn the water off, I lose suction. My other sink is deeper and closer to my tank, but the connector piece is much smaller. I don't think I could retrofit the t-pump to this connector anyways. Has anyone ever had this problem and know a solution to what is going wrong here? My fiance saw the water overflowing and was a real trooper, she just grabbed a disposable cup and started dumping the water into the show to relieve the sink! hahaha
