Has anyone used PVC pipes for caves? If so do you have photos you can share? I'm trying to get more ideas for cheap aquarium decor.

I see a lot of pics of peoples tanks with pvc pipe and elbows. I don't have any in my tank so I can't help with pics.

Here found this on google. I know their amphibians and not fish, but it’s the only thing I could find

I've had black pvc pipes for caves. I've also glued on natural gravel rocks to cover the pipes.

I have black PVC elbows in one of my tanks, they are pressed back into a hillside of sand so they are mostly buried. I will get a picture this weekend and add it here for you.

I tried to give my pleco a pvc pipe as a cave. He decided to just knock up the sand underneath his driftwood instead

I don't care for the look even a little. Looks like a pile of construction debris under glass to me. But no reason it shouldn't be very effective.

I tried to hide them. There are 4 black and one white.

I have use PVC for bettas and now use PVC to grow more diatoms for a ramshorn snail tank. I've never had an issue with PVC and just lay it on the bottom of the tank.

Someone recently posted about cutting the pvc in half and pressing it against the side of the tank. This way you can still see the fish when inside. I really lile this idea and plan on trying it. I found a lot of neat s using keywords: pvc aquarium decor
