Putting Babies With Parents

My cories made lots of babies (peppered, albino and bronze) and some are ready to be moved to one of my main tanks but I’m wondering if I should put the babies with their parents because that would result in inbreeding when they’re sexually mature. Is it ok to just put them all together? I don’t know if I want to raise more fry so this might not have to worry about future generations.

Hello, I also have this problem w/my albino fry ( about 20-30). I was thinking of separating sexes, males in a 29gal. since they are smaller & females in 35gal. Hope this helps!

Thanks. By when can you sex them? My bronze are all the same size at this point so I put 11 in my 29 and 11 in my 55 with female peppered corys and 9 juliI coys. I still have 20+ peppered babies in the grow out tank and another 20 bronze corys. I was going to sell them to my local LFS but I’m afraid they’ll go to a bad home. My floors can hardly support the tanks I have so I can’t get any more.

Hello again, I am only experienced w/albinos & I believe they are part of bronze genius. Female grows about a 1/3 longer & nearly 2× the width of the male. Age=? Hope this helps!

Thanks. Yes bronze and albino are the same genius and I know the size difference but mine are about 4 months old and are all the same size. It would be too convenient if they were all one gender.

Did some research & found that corys start breeding at about 9mo. & you should be able to tell them apart by then.
