I was wondering if anyone has had experiences with keeping other community fish with the purple spotted gudgeon. I've read different reports of it predating on fish as large as Marci rainbows while others say it has been peaceful.

Seems to leave the smallest kribs alone. Never seen any chasing. I also have IDS in the tank. Eveyone gets along. The kribs even produced fry once but they didn't last long

What are you trying to keep it with? I keep mine with a group of smaller more peaceful cichlids and it does well probably because cichlids demand a certain level of respect for the most part

I have a breeding group of 5 that stay in a 40 gallon breeder community tank with eels, knife fish and catfish.
