Protruding white scale

Hello! I have only been keeping fish for about a year. I still feel new to this. A few weeks ago I got a trio of blue moscow guppies and things were going well. I noticed one of the females was flashing a lot on one of the fish that were already in the tank started swimming erratically. All the tests I did seemed fine so I dosed general cure thinking that the problem was flukes. The fish calmed down and all was well again. Within a few days I noticed that the same guppy seemed to be fading in color a little an had a small white spot on her side. I thought maybe the male was stressing her out and maybe she had ich. But I had just done the course of general cure so that didn't seem possible. I let it chill for a few more days and now it doesn't look like a spot it is a white patch with the scales looking like they are protruding from her body. I don't know what I'm doing and was hopeful that anyone might know what I should do next. Please let me know what other info is needed to diagnose this issue.

Could be some kind of bacterial infection or rot. I haven't seen body rot look like that, but it looks similar to a problem I had with a betta a few years ago where he had cottony rot on his tail. It cleared up in a few weeks with a medicine I was recommended by my local Petco fish expert (best Petco/Petsmart I had EVER been to). Can't remember what it was called, and I wouldn't recommend using medicine in a community tank if no one else is having problems. If the guppy is a schooling fish (don't know much about guppies), I wouldn't separate them. Interested to see what others say, though. To make everything easier, though, here's the emergency template

The problem might simply be an abrasion w/ fungus attached. In that case clean water & a little time should clear it up.
If the abnormality spreads, then likely a bacterial infection. Not good. In that case be prepared to remove the infected fish.

Are the scales pineconed?
Is the fish bloated?
Is the fish eating?
How many male guppies in the tank, how many female?

It is just a few scales that seem like they are sticking out and have turned white. The color on her body seems a little washed out. She is also pregnant so she already looks bloated. She does eat but not as much as usual. She is not being as active as she was. There are 2 females and 1 male.
