My tank is roughly 15 years old now and I was just wondering if anyone does preventative resealing when their tank reaches a certain age? Its a 20 gallon, I am getting a 55 gallon soon so I will be moving everything over in hopes that the tank will be instant cycled... but Im wondering if I should get the 20 resealed if I chose to set it up again. There aren't any leaks but the silicone on the glass beside the corners looks like its deteriorating. The tank has only been moved once about 2 years ago. Thanks!

If its empty why not? Then if you do use it again its good to go! I will probably do my 20 gallon before I use it again. Plus it will make it look better again.
