Pretty sure my plakat ate two ghost shrimp...

Hello all,
I'm fairly certain that my plakat ate his ghost shrimp. I can't be sure, because of plants and the nature of my betta ponds. My best clue is that my betta is acting fed up. He's napping a bit more than usual, and isn't as voracious as he usually is. I'd never had ghost shrimp before, though I knew that this could be a possibility. Anybody have any experience they'd like to share? For now, I'm limiting his food and just keeping a close eye on him.

Ghost shrimp like to hide, he's probably just hiding in some of your plants.

Right, that could still be a possibility. My assumption is based on my betta's changed behavior, not the lack of visible shrimp.

I can't think of anything else to do but monitor and limit his food, exactly like you're already doing.

Thanks. I figure there's not really anything else *to* do. Guess I'm just looking for backup, lol. I took him out of his pond for the first time since he went in, so I could give him a good once over. He took that well, flared a bit, no freak out.
