    Hey guys

    No ‘signs of illness’
    Parameters are fine
    0 ammonia
    0 nitrites
    5 nitrates

So I was doing my tank stuff today and noticed this tetra bloated. Trying to get a pic is a pain. Suggestions? Should I worry? I did give the tank pellets today, maybe she got one of my angels pellets?! I didn’t notice this in the morning but I also wasn’t really looking too close.

I hope the photos you can pick out the slightly rounded one ☺️

I don't know what's up with your tetra, but Neon Tetras are egg-laying fish. They don't get pregnant.

I also have Cardinal Tetras and when they breed it happens so fast you don't even see it happen, I would not worry about it, the'll eat the eggs as fast as they can lay them.

Looks like a beautiful full female to me.

Thanks all! yes I should have worded that better. Yes I know they can’t ‘get pregnent’ I wasn’t thinking king when I typed- full of eggs is why I meant lol. Oh gee long semester guys.

She’s slim again so I’m betting She was full of eggs and they were eaten upon release. My female betta does the same all the time- it is oddly fast, I must have just caught it

    Thanks so much!!
