I have 2 oscars. They are exhibiting what i think to be mating behavior.
And one of them has a lump near their tummy.
Water parameters are normal. Pooping normally. They have been digging and re-scaping the tank (which they never did before)
Here is the best pic i could get of the bump

    Can i expect eggs?

its very rare for oscars to breed in tanks

Although it is difficult to spawn oscars, it's not impossible. Keep an eye out, if you notice breeding tubes coming out (they are the most protruded right before spawning) then you've mostly like got a breeding pair.

However, is the lump uniform on both sides of the fish, or is it protruding just from the one side? I only ask as it doesn't seem oddly shaped, but it could just be the angle and/or lighting

It probably is the angle or lighting. But yes it looks like a bump/ball all the way around

My KKBP looked very similar to this before she spawned. Hopefully you can expect fry soon.

Omg that would be awesome! Might i have to move them to a separate tank?

That depends on how well the parents care for the fry, but usually you do have to move the eggs to a different tank if they're in a community tank.
