I had this problem in the past.

A very fat(no idea whether they were pregnant) female guppy and a fat platy.(in different tank)
They start to isolate themselves and then died suddenly.

I have the feeling that platy is going to die when it isolate itself like the guppy.
It did died after a few days.

Can you post a pic? What are your water parameters? Sometimes bloating could be dropsy but also pregnant females can die from the stress of being pregnant and laboring. Is she still eating? If so, try feeding her green peas, they're a good laxative. You could also try fasting her for a day or two to see if she slims down.

Thanks for the replies.

They had both died and so no pictures to show.
They just hide in place and do not come out to feed before I found them floating a couple days later.

This was an experience in the past.
No problem with other fish though.

I've had this experience,
the female Platy would isolate herself and become very terretorial when others came near. She did have a gravid spot and a few days later I was given twenty baby fry!
