Pregnant guppy?

Hello,
A few days ago I posted asking if my guppy is pregnant. She has put on a bit of a tummy; However, her gravid spot has turned transparent/lightbrown. She has also been hanging out close to the bottom of the tank. Is she close to birth or is this just a phase of pregnancy?

Hi SamanthaJane, guppies are nearly always pregnant. The light brown spot(gravid spot) will gradually get darker and your fish will get a lot bigger, she may have 2-3 weeks to go. Just ensure that there is lots of hiding spots for the fry or they will get eaten.
